One of the highly anticipated movies of the year, ‘Beast’ hit the screens today (April 13) amid a lot of hype. The action-comedy entertainer is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures made on a whopping budget of Rs 150 crores. ‘Beast’ stars

Pooja Hegde in the lead roles, while director Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu and Redin Kingsley play other pivotal roles in the film.
The film talks about an ex-Raw agent’s crusade to rescue the people, who were held hostage in a shopping mall by a group of Terrorists.
The theatrical rights of the Telugu version of 'Beast' were grabbed by famous Tollywood producer Dil Raju. He has distributed the film in association with Suresh Productions and Asian Cinemas. Beast has been released in over 426 theatres in the USA. The rights of Telugu and Tamil versions were sold overseas for an undisclosed amount.
‘Beast’ has reportedly been released in over 505 theatres in Telugu states. The film was reportedly sold for Rs 3.05 crores in Nizam. Rs 2.1 crores in Ceded, 4.40 crores in Andhra.
The film was reportedly released in 175 theatres in Nizam, 90 theatres in Ceded, and 240 theatres in Andhra = a Total of 505 Theaters in Telugu states. 'Beast' in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana has managed to mint over Rs 5-7 crores on its opening day with over 40-50 % occupancy.
