With the film doing well at the box office, some of the members of the core team had met the press in Chennai today for a thanskgiving meet. Many of those, like director Vamshi, even got emotional on stage during their speech.
In an industry where many have an insecurity about praising their peers, composer Thaman, who gave the chartbuster Ranjithamey in the film, acknowledged the role his fellow composer Anirudh Ravichander played in ensuring that the music is of top quality. "When I got on board to compose the music for this film, Anirudh had already given chartbusters for Vijay sir's films like Master and Beast, and we thought that we should do something beyond that," he stated.
Interestingly, Thaman had also roped in Anirudh to sing one of the numbers in the film — the duet Jimikki Ponnu!
Further talking about the film's music, the music director who is most sought-after in Telugu cinema, stated, "Director Vamshi wanted the ‘Amma Song’ to be more than two and a half minutes long so that everyone can enjoy it emotionally in a film starring such a big star."
He also added the success of this film has energised him in a great way. "Success is like blood flowing through the body. It should keep running," he said.
