Singer Sathyan helps on stage musicians

Sathyan, a playback singer and composer who is best known for performing the hit numbers “Kalakkapovathu Yaaru” from Vasool Raja MBBS, “Sil Sil” from Arinthum Ariyamalum and the title track from Boss Engira Bhaskaran is currently helping in collecting funds for the Tamil Nadu light music association. It is evident that the Corona pandemic has affected everyone and among them are the stage light musicians who depend on the shows for their wages.The lockdown had affected their shows and so singer Sathyan had come to their rescue. He has started a fund raising virtual live session in his Facebook page called Sathyan Utsav to help the light musicians. So far he’s done 33 live sessions and all of it has been so well received by his fans. His live videos collect close to 12,000 views and this definitely proves that Tamil audience are missing a good singer like Sathyan in action.
