Vishal's father, GK Reddy, picks the actor's best onscreen pair

Vishal is one of the popular heroes in Tamil cinema, and he has been rocking with his movies for over 20 years. Vishal's father and producer, GK Reddy, opened up about the actor's cinematic journey in his latest interview with Cinema Vikatan. Vishal was not much interested in entering cinema during his school time, and it was the actor's father who wished to see any of his two sons enter the film industry. But it was Vishal's elder brother, Vicky, who fulfilled his father's wish. Whereas Vicky's films didn't go well, it made GK Reddy change his focus to Vishal.

Vishal was not interested in acting when his father asked him initially, but the senior's continuous requests made the former change his mind. Vishal then worked hard on his debut film, 'Chellame', and he made his father feel proud of him. But the massive success of Vishal's second film, 'Sandakozhi', was the one that cemented the place for the actor in cinema. Vishal later opted to choose action films. Vishal got some huge money from GK Reddy to help the 'Sandakozhi' producer when the film faced a financial problem. Lingusamy's directorial turned out to be a big hit later, and Vishal's father, GK Reddy, was very happy for his son. GK Reddy recalled the 'Sandakozhi' times since it's the most important phase of actor Vishal's career in cinema.

GK Reddy then picked Vishal's best on-screen pair, and it's none other than Keerthy Suresh, who worked with the actor in 'Sandakozhi 2'.
