Venkat Prabhu is gearing up for the release of the forthcoming multi-starrer film ‘Party’, which is expected to release sometime next month. Interestingly, the latest buzz is that Venkat Prabhu is likely to bankroll Chimbudevan’s upcoming yet-untitled film.
Reports suggest that Chimbudevan might team up with Venkat Prabhu’s Black Ticket company for his next and an official confirmation regarding the project is expected soon.
Meanwhile, Chimbudevan was supposed to direct the much-awaited sequel ‘Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikecei’ and veteran comedian
Vadivelu was signed to play the lead role. However, it looks like the project has reportedly been shelved after Vadivelu walked out of the film. A sequel to the blockbuster period comedy of ‘Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi’, the film was to be produced by Shankar’s S Pictures.
On the other hand, Venkat Prabhu will begin work on the upcoming political drama ‘Maanadu’ with Simbu playing the lead role. According to reports, Venkat Prabhu will complete the script of ‘Maanadu’ after the release of ‘Party’. If reports are to be believed, ‘Maanadu’ is expected to release in the first half of 2019.
