Swathi is back in Kollywood

You last saw her playing a cameo in Kanimozhi, as Jai���������s wife.
And now, actress Swathi, who had a successful debut in Subramaniapuram, is back in Kollywood with Samuthirakani���������s Porali. She will be playing one of the five leads in the film.
Confirming the news, director Samuthirakani says, ���������Yes, we���������ve roped in Swathi. She plays a bubbly slum dweller in the film and speaks pucca local Tamil.���������
Ask him if their (Sasikumar, Swathi and Samuthirakani) successful combination in Subramaniapuram was what prompted him to sign up Swathi for this film as well and he shoots back, ���������First of all, Subramaniapuram was Sasi���������s film and I just played a part in it.And if I wanted to rope in Swathi just because our combination worked big time, I would have signed her up for my Nadodigal itself. I choose to work with actors only if I feel they suit the character.���������
Porali, he says, is the story of five people. ���������The film revolves around Sasikumar, Allari Naresh, Swathi, Vasundhara and another girl, and will be narrated in a flashback mode,��������� he informs.
