Students enjoy a metro train ride with Vijay Antony

Tamil Nadu government today, June 12, celebrated Child Labour Abolition Day. The event was marked by a metro train ride for school students. Actor Vijay Antony along with producer and former FEFSI head Siva took a metro ride from DMS till the airport. Labour Welfare Minister Dr Nilofer Kapil participated in the event. Vijay Anotny said that children should never be sent to work- instead, they should be able to study and be happy in their childhood.“They are the future of India and hence they should be given opportunities for education. We should strive to have an India without child labour,” he added.
Vijay Antony, a music director-turned-actor is basking in the glory of the success of his latest crime thriller, Kolaigaran. The actor has Agni Siragugal, Thamilarasan, and Kaaki in different stages of production.
