Stars lend their voices for Malini

The team of Malini 22 Palayamkottai, the Tamil remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam film 22 Female Kottayam, is going all out to ensure that they recreate the magic of the original. The film is directed by yesteryear actress Sripriya and has music by Arvind-Shankar, who composed the Whistle Podu anthem of the Chennai IPL team.
Recently, the composers recorded the intro song for the film with the film���s cast.We hear that the film���s leading lady Nithya Menen sang for the number with comediennes Kovai Sarala and Vidyullekha. According to sources, the film will not be a shot-by-shot remake of the original and Sripriya has modified the storyline and the characters to suit Tamil sensibilities.
