Shruti Haasan to croon for Mallika

It looks like the Munni song in Vosthi, the remake of Dabangg, will be sung by none other than the Ulaganayagan���������s daughter, Shruti Haasan.
Though director Dharani did not confirm this news, he says the song is yet to be recorded and shot. Mallika Sherawat, as we recently reported, has been signed on for this much-hyped number. Music director Thaman has used two songs from the Telugu flick, Mirapakai, for which he had scored the music, in this film.
Says an industry source, ���������Shruti is keen on singing for films and they think she would be a perfect fit for this. Plus, the song requires a slightly different kind of voice and it went on be a superhit in Hindi.��������� Apparently, Simbu has excelled with his dancing skills in a song titled Damaal Doomeel. This song was picturised at a police station, adds the source.
