The actor was recently in the news about stepping away from Vishal Bharadwaj’s next, which as per reports, is now being done by Shahid Kapoor. When asked about it, in an exclusive interview with ETimes, he said “ Our conversations go on with many people, and a lot of times there is no truth in them and at times they are just rumours, so it is better to not comment on them. What I’m doing right is an Anurag Basu film, and besides that there is a lot of news doing the rounds about what I'm doing and not doing etc." “ With so much news around…it just shows that people are interested in knowing where I'm going in my career , what is happening in my life , which somewhere down the line means that there is an excitement with the audience and fraternity,” he added. Kartik also shared, "I'm in a space where I want to wait, analyze and then decide what I’m going to do now . Earlier I was doing a lot of things together, now I have calmed down, and want to do less things and concentrate completely on what I'm currently doing.” Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is clashing with Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn, and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Singham Again. The film also stars Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone,Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor.
