Saranya's next is a Celebration of love

Actress Saranya Mohan, who has appeared in interesting roles in several Tamil films including Velayudham and Osthe, will be seen playing the female lead in Kolagalam. Directed by Surendran, the film will see her pair opposite debutant Amal. Devadarshini, Ganja Karuppu, Vietnam Veedu Sundaram and Manobala also feature in prominent roles.Surendran says, 'The film's a pure love story, and will target the youngsters. These days, friends refer to each other as 'machan', but have a problem if you want to ask the hands of their daughter or sister in marriage because of caste issues. This film, in a humorous way, explore love in a different angle.' He adds, 'For the heroine's character, we needed someone who would be bubbly and cheerful, and Saranya fit the bill perfectly. She has done a wonderful job in this film. Kolagalam means happiness and celebration, and the film will celebrate love.'
