Actress Salony Luthra of Sarabham fame is on cloud nine, as her short film, Kajal, will have its premiere at the New York Indian Film Festival. Directed by debutante Pakhi Tyrewala, the film talks about serious issues faced by women in the society. Salony, says, “Most of the stars these days are open towards doing short films, as they have a wide reach among the audience.

Interestingly, only recently, the actress had acted in a Tamil short film, titled Oliyum Oliyum, in which she played a role of a visually-impaired girl.
