Ravi Mohan's ‘Idly Nadigai’ comment triggers Khushbu Sundar reaction; ‘Thank you for proving me right’

'Ponniyin Selvan' actor Ravi Mohan has once again found himself at the centre of public attention after a recent press interaction where he spoke at length about personal difficulties linked to his marriage with Aarti Ravi.

During the press meet, he made multiple allegations regarding emotional distress and long-standing issues within his marital life. The actor also referred to an “idly nadigai (actress)” whom he accused of interfering in his relationship, without directly naming anyone.




He further alleged that the unnamed actress influenced not only his marriage but also the personal lives of other actors, framing her actions critically.

As quoted by Republic World, he stated during the press meet, "That actress ruined my family. She has no moral right to speak about me."

Speculation over identity intensifies

Following his remarks, social media discussions quickly turned towards identifying the person he was referring to. Many social media users speculated that the comment was indirectly aimed at Khushbu Sundar.

Reacting to the ongoing discussion, Khushbu Sundar addressed the matter through her official X account. She appeared to respond indirectly to the allegations and commentary surrounding her name. In her post, she wrote, "Some are just hell bent to prove their DNA. Thank you for proving me right.”

Khushbu’s response triggered widespread debate online, with users split in their reactions. Some questioned her involvement in the ongoing dispute, while others criticised the tone of her statement. One user commented, "Maybe you can keep your nose out of other's family business." Another wrote, "DNA? What’s in the DNA madam? Your DNA is better than his? Your family has better respect and culture than his? What are you even trying to say? You’re just proving him right, you know?"

Another comment read, "What he is telling??? In wat wat u interfered in their life???" while one more stated, "He never spoke about your DNA."



Ravi Mohan’s detailed allegations

In the same press interaction, Ravi Mohan also expanded on his claims regarding his marital life. He alleged that Aarti Ravi had pressured him into marriage under distressing circumstances and described prolonged emotional suffering. He stated, "From day one, I have been living a hellish life. They even did black magic. Now they are using PR groups (I don't want to name them) to cyberbully me. I am dying slowly, but before I die, I will finish everyone. I started hurting my hand. I can’t live without my children."

He also spoke about financial struggles within the marriage, claiming restricted access to his personal banking. He added, "I suffered in silence despite earning. My parents begged me not to get married, but I refused to obey them. Today, I am suffering."
