Popular Tamil director
C. Prem Kumar garnered a positive response from the audience for his directorial debut '96.' His subsequent release, 'Meiyazhagan', also received critical acclaim. Now, he has announced that he will be joining hands with actor
Fahadh Faasil for his third film. Speaking to TV host Gopinath, he shared the specifics of this new film and his upcoming plans.
Meanwhile, 'Chiyaan 64,' which Prem Kumar was to direct with actor Vikram, has been temporarily postponed. “I am still writing the script for
Vikram sir. I will start it only after completing the film with Fahadh sir. I was planning to start a new film within a year after 'Meiyazhagan', but the deadline has been moved to January. I will make sure that there are no gaps like this from now on," he shared.
Prem Kumar plans on making a film without a heroine
Prem Kumar also spoke about his writing style and future ideas. “I like solitude, so writing films with fewer characters comes naturally. But I have started thinking beyond that. There is also a survival-adventure drama story with nine characters. Similarly, I am writing a love story where the heroine never appears in the film. "I don't push for innovation; I like stories to come naturally," the director said.
