Popular television host Gobinath to turn hero?

Gobinath is one of the popular hosts in Tamil television, thanks to his show Neeya Naana which has been entertaining small screen viewers for several years. Looks like he’s all set to join the list of hosts-turned-heroes – he was earlier seen in movies like Nimirndhu Nil, Thirunaal, and so on. Santhanam, Sivakarthikeyan, Rio Raj, etc, are other television presenters who made their Kollywood after having a successful stint with hosting.It is heard that his film, to be directed by Bharathi Ganesh, has been titled Ithu Ellathukum Mela.
The director has earlier helmed Kannupada Poguthaiya, which released two decades ago, starring Vijayakanth and Simran. According to a source, the movie will have several children playing crucial roles in it. The senior host started his career in television two decades ago and is known for works as a radio jockey, journalist, reporter, news presenter, entrepreneur and writer.
