An official update regarding the upcoming Tamil movie ‘Kuthiraivaal’ has been made by director Pa. Ranjith. Produced under the banner of Neelam Productions by Ranjith, the movie is now all set to be released on the big screens on March 4.

An official update regarding the upcoming Tamil movie ‘Kuthiraivaal’ has been made by director Pa. Ranjith. Produced under the banner of Neelam Productions by Ranjith, the movie is now all set to be released on the big screens on March 4.
Director Ranjith on his official Twitter account made the announcement stating that the movie will be released on March 4.

‘Kuthiraivaal’ is directed by debutant Manoj Leonel Jahson and Shyam Sunder. The movie features Kalaiyarasan, Anjali Patil, Sowmya Jaganmurthy, Anand Sami in the lead roles. Reportedly, the story of the movie was inspired from a novel written by Franz Kafka. According to reports, the film is one of the few Tamil cinemas that is using the concept of magical realism. ‘Kuthiraivaal’ tells the story of a man who wakes up from his sleep to find that a horse tail is attached to him. Reportedly it will show how a man’s shadow follows him but with a horse tail. The music and background score of the movie is composed by
Pradeep Kumar and the cinematography is handled by Karthik Muthukumar.
The movie will premiere at the International Film Festival of Kerala on February 12. The official announcement regarding the premiere at IFFK was also made by director Pa Ranjith. ‘Kuthiraivaal’, also known as ‘Horse Tail’, will be the first Tamil film that is chosen and nominated for the international premiere at the Berlin Critics Film Festival.
