Nayanthara-starrer ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’ pushed to August 17

A few days ago, we had reported that the Nayanthara-starrer ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’ has been finalised to hit the screens on August 10.
Apparently, the makers have now changed the release date to avert clash with the magnum opus ‘Vishwaroopam 2’, which will be releasing on the same date.

Taking to Twitter, Lyca Productions announced that the release date has been pushed by a week.
If reports are to go by ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’ will be hitting the screens on August 17. It must be noted that the film created very good vibe on social media when the makers unveiled the trailer last month. Apparently, Nayanthara plays the role of a drug peddler in the film, which is directed by debutant Nelson Dhilipkumar.
Even before its trailer, the song ‘Kalyaana Vayasu’ composed by Anirudh Ravichander became a sensational hit on the internet and has clocked more than 37 million views on YouTube. The song was penned by none other than actor Sivakarthikeyan.
Produced by Lyca Productions, ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’ is tipped to be a fun-filled film that also stars Saranya Ponvannan, Yogi Babu, Rajendran and Jacqueline in supporting roles.
