Nayanthara-starrer ‘Imaikka Nodigal’ to release on August 30

Nayanthara’s forthcoming psychotic-thriller ‘Imaikka Nodigal’, which has been in the production from quite sometime now. According to latest reports, the makers are planning to release the film on August 30. Recently, ‘Imaikkaa Nodigal’ completed the censor formalities and has been awarded a ‘U/A’ certificate.
‘Imaikkaa Nodigal’ has huge hype among the audience, especially after its kickass trailer, which went viral on the internet.Reportedly, the film has a runtime of 170 minutes and will see Anurag Kashyap playing a serial killer.
Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu of ‘Demonte Colony’ fame, the film has an ensemble cast including Anurag Kashyap, Atharvaa and Raashi Khanna in lead roles. Interestingly, it also features Vijay Sethupathi playing an extended cameo in the film. According to reports, Vijay Sethupathi will be seen as Nayanthara’s husband. Tipped to a thriller, ‘Imaikka Nodigal’ has music by Hiphop Tamizha Adhi and is produced by Cameo Films India.
Meanwhile, Nayanthara is basking in the success of the recent dark-comedy ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’, which is directed by debutant Nelson Dhilipkumar. The film, which released on Friday, has opened to positive response from critics and audience alike.
