Movie shows get cancelled in Tamil Nadu for Jallikattu

According to an announcement released by the Tamil Nadu Film Distributors Association, all morning and matinee shows across Tamil Nadu have been cancelled in movie theatres today i.e. January 20, 2017. While talks between the state and the center are on for passing of an ordinance to lift the ban on the sport, movie shows in Tamil Nadu get cancelled in support of the Jallikattu movement.It is to be noted that the crowds of Chennai are stepping into their 3rd consecutive day at the Marina protesting for a revoke against the ban on the bull-taming sport of Jallikattu.
