Monal Gajjar and Nikki in Memories remake?

We had earlier reported that Arulnithi will be teaming up with director Arivazhagan for his next film, which is the remake of superhit Malayalam film, Memories. The latest on that front is that Monal Gajjar has been signed on as one of the leads. Buzz is that talks are also on with Nikki Galrani for another role.
Monal, however, has confirmed the news, saying, ���I am yet to officially sign the agreement, as I am little busy in Ahmedabad.But I know that I will be playing one of the leads in the film and that the shoot will begin in October.��� The actress, who made her debut in Kollywood with two films ��� Vikram Prabhu���s Sigaram Thodu and Vanavarayan Vallavarayan ��� both of which released simultaneously, is quite excited about the project.
Also, since the original has two female leads, the makers are also in talks with Nikki. A source informs, ���Monal will be playing a journalist, while Arulnithi plays a cop. Talks are on with Nikki Galrani of Darling fame for essaying the other female lead role in the film.���
Just for recall, Jeethu Joseph of Papanasam fame directed Memories, with Malayalam actor Prithviraj playing the lead.
