Meera Jasmine, Madhavan and Lingusamy have a mini Run reunion!

The leads stars and the director fondly look back on the hit 2002 film
Meera Jasmine, Madhavan and Lingusamy have a mini Run reunion!
Director Lingusamy's action romance Run is still considered one of his best films and is loved by many Tamil film buffs. And now, almost 20 years after its release, the director and its lead stars — Madhavan and Meera Jasmine — had a mini reunion of sorts when they connected with one another, albeit on social media.
It all started with a tweet by Meera Jasmine — who has currently undergone a makeover and is making a comeback of sorts — looking back fondly on the film.

Taking to her social media handle, the actress, who made her Tamil debut with the film, wrote, "There is something non tangible and endearing about first times. Priya from ‘Run’ was my first experience with the soulful language Tamil and she gave me heaps of precious firsts and memories of a lifetime. Fondly looking back to this memory from the sets with the phenomenal team (sic)."
The actress, who was last seen in Tamil films in 2014, in Vingyani, also shared a behind-the-scenes still from Run, which had her along with Maddy and Lingusamy.
Lingusamy joined the conversation when he mentioned that her tweet had stirred some sweet memories for him. "Made me to "RUN" through those wonderful memories with the team & @ActorMadhavan.. wishing you a great & a longer run this time, looking forward to join you again (sic)," he wrote.
And Maddy, too, joined in, and thanked the director and his co-star, writing, "It was on of the most amazing run of my life.. thank you @dirlingusamy and @Meerajasminee .. let’s keep continuing the victory lap. (sic)."
Interestingly, the three have worked with one another again, although not as a trio. While Madhavan and Meera paired up once again in Mani Ratnam's Ayitha Ezhuthu (2004), Lingusamy had Meera as a chirpy heroine in his Sandakozhi (2005), Madhavan had joined hands with the director for Vettai (2012). Now, we would definitely love to see this trio come together again for a film!
