Mani off to Kodai

Even as distributors are demanding money back after to the Kadal debacle, we hear that Mani Ratnam, allegedly unable to take the pressure, has headed to Kodaikanal. TOI had recently reported that distributors from across the state had queued up outside the filmmaker���s office, requesting him to refund them for the losses they incurred due to the film.
On their part, the director���s production house had stated in a press release earlier that they had sold the film���s distribution rights on a Minimum Guarantee basis to another production house last year itself.It remains to be seen what the company will do to solve the issue.
