Lingusamy to remake Akshay Kumar's Special 26

Akshay Kumar's Special 26, also known as Special Chabbis is said to be remade in Tamil and Telugu by Lingusamy���s 'Thirupathi Brothers'. Tamil director Lingusamy who was very impressed with the film wants to buy the remake rights for his production company Thirrupathy Brothers and do it with a top hero in Tamil and Telugu.
The Hindi film starred Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead with Manoj Bajpai and Anupam Kher in supporting roles.The buzz is that Lingusamy���s 'Thirupathi Brothers' and Neeraj Pandey���s 'Friday Filmworks' will jointly produce the film.
Neeraj Pandey directed Special 26 has not only been liked by the critics but is also a hit. The team is apparently working out the cast and technical crew and will make an official announcement shortly.
