Leo movie review and box office collection LIVE Updates: Official! Vijay's action drama earns Rs 148 crore on day 1

'Leo' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is said to be the Lokesh Cinematic Universe and the film stars Vijay, Trisha, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, Sandy in important roles and Anurag Kashyap plays a cameo role in the movie. The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and the film will be released worldwide on October 19 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The film has already grossed more than Rs 6 crore at the box office with advance bookings and the film is the highest grosser in UK and US. The film's first show will begin at 9am in Tamil Nadu as the state government and the Madras High Court has denied early morning shows for the film in the state.

While the makers did not take an action, reportedly a cyber security company - Block X took to Twitter and issued a warning, asking people to not share the videos. In a statement, it read, "Restrain yourself from sharing the leaked video of #LEO. Repeated infringing handles will be suspended without any notifications.DM us such tweets @blockxtechs. We will bring them down!!"

'Leo' Telugu release issues resolved!

Earlier yesterday, the civil court heard a hearing in which the 'Leo' Telugu version was asked to delay its release as Sithara entertainment held the copyrights for the title. Later, producer Naga Vamsi stated that they had settled for an off-the court talks amicably and mutually and has agreed to let the film release on October 19. The petition before read that the movie should not be allowed to be screened until October 20 in Andhra Pradesh.

Srilankan MP asks Vijay to not release movie in Sri Lanka

While the Vijay starrer is all set for its worldwide release in theatres, a MP in Sri Lanka has come forward asking the actor to not release the film in Sri Lanka. In a letter addressed to the actor, the Srilankan MP stated that a country wide protest has been arranged to happen there and added that the release of the movie at the time of protest was not a right situation and asked if it can be delayed.
