Actor-director-choreographer Raghava Lawrence thanked the Tirumala Thirupati Devasthanam officials for introducing some plans to regulate the crowd and do away with 'jarugandi' system in the sanctum sanctorum of the Sri Venakatachalapathy in Thirupathi. On Tuesday, a senior Tirumala Tiripati Devasthanam official said there won't be Jaruganti and rather it would be only Govinda in temple. He said the crowd will not be pushed or jostled inside. Lawrence seems to be happy that TTD officials have taken right decision.
It may be recalled that a few weeks ago, Raghava Lawrence who has gone to the temple to offer his prayers was unhappy with the way the officials behaved with him and his family. Lawrence had urged the authorities to change the system which results in difficulty for pilgrims.
