Karthi's 'Sardar' set to release this Deepavali

Popular Tamil actor Karthi has been amazing with his story selections and delivering stunning films to prove his versatility. Karthi's next film 'Sardar' is locked to release this Deepavali. and the actor has joined hands with PS Mithran for the same. Interestingly, the dedicated actor is sporting two different looks in the film. one a young cop, and the other one is an old man.
The makers have now locked the film's release date after selling theatrical rights and the film is slated to release this Deepavali.After the blockbuster 'Kaithi' in 2019, it's going to be another Deepavali release from Karthi, and this film is also expected to do the same.
Meanwhile, the shooting of 'Sardar' is progressing steadily, and the team has headed to Azerbaijan to shoot some major portions of the film. The villain portions of the film have been reportedly shot in Azerbaijan with Chunky Pandey and a few other members. The makers have spent Rs 4 crores for the Azerbaijan-Georgia wing of the shoot. Reported to be a crime thriller Raashi Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan play female leads, while the film music is scored by GV Prakash Kumar.
It's going to be a back-to-back three release for Karthi with a gap of a month as 'Viruman', 'Ponniyin Selvan', and 'Sardar' are slated to release respectively on August 31st, September 30th, and October 24th.
