Karthi on par with Vijay and Suriya

Tamil Pongal biggie Alex Pandian will open in 102 screens in Kerala with 86 prints, It���s a record for Karthi, and now he is in race at par with Mammootty, Mohanlal, Dileep, Suriya and Vijay in Kerala.
With the release of his Alex Pandian which was titled after the iconic character of Rajnikanth in the film Moondru Mugam the former has been excited about the film getting more screens throughout the world.The surprising factor is that, only Mollywood Superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty has been managing such releases out there and now our Karthi is in a super class with them.
Karthi has joined the league of stars which has fans in other industries apart from Kollywood. While Rajinikanth and Kamal have fans all over the country, only Vijay and Suriya have had fans in other industries and seems like Karthi, brother of Suriya has joined them.
The film has Karthi and Anushka in the lead and is directed by Suraaj. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for the film. The film is hitting the screens today and will be the first big release of the year in Kollywood.
