Kamal Haasan watches 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' and praises team

Director Mani Ratnam's historical drama 'Ponniyin Selvan 2', which hit the screens on April 28, 2023, has been receving amazing response from the audience. The film is the second and final installment of director Mani Ratnam's magnum opus which is a historic epic drama adapted from the novel written by Kalki Krishnamurthy. While actor Kamal Haasan had given his voice to narrate the film, he has now watched film and has given his opinion about the film.
Kamal Haasan heaped parises on the acclaimed filmmaker and the cast of the film. The magnum opus features Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, and Trisha Krishnan in important roles. Actors namely Prakash Raj, R Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Parthian, Ashwin Kakumanu, and others are also a part of the project.
The Ulaganayagan watched the film yesterday along with director Mani Ratnam and music composer Devi Sri Prasad. He also didn't miss to mention about the thousands of workers who were involved in the making of the film, whose names were mentioned in the film's end credits.
