K Balachander spoke to Kamal Haasan from ICU

Veteran director K Balachander who introduced Kamal Haasan into films was admitted in hospital yesterday following ill health. while the ace director has recovered and is stable in the hospital, actor Kamal Haasan has sent his wishes to get well soon from Los Angeles.
The star said said he spoke to his mentor for close to one and a half minute over the phone. During his conversation, Kamal has said he would come and meet him once his work get completed in the US.He further said, though he couldn't make out what K Balachander had spoken over the phone, he responded with an acknowledgement every now and then.
Yesterday, actor Rajinikanth had rushed to the hospital to meet the director and told the media outside the hospital that the director is doing well and requested everyone to pray for his speedy recovery.
