The Income Tax officials have reportedly raided the property of
Lalit Kumar, one of the co-producers of Vijay's upcoming film 'Master'. The search was reportedly about the connection with the 'Master' pre-release business, which was said to be more than Rs 200 crore. After investigating the 'Master' co-producer Lalit Kumar, Income Tax officials have now investigated at Vijay's Chennai residence.
According to the reports, Seven Screen Studio Lalit Kumar has already got his share from the pre-release business of 'Master'.
Post the investigation, no press release regarding the same has been released by the IT department, and it looks like the officials have not seized anything from Lalit Kumar's premises. Now, the Income Tax raids at Vijay's premises in back to back months have made the 'Master' actor to hit the headlines.
Earlier last month, IT officials investigated Vijay during 'Master' shooting spot in Neyveli and then took the actor to Chennai for further investigation, which lasted for more than 24 hours. Vijay made his documents clear during the investigation while the officials seized some valuables at the premises of famous financier Anbu Chelian, who had connections with Vijay during 'Bigil'.
