Horror films are the flavour of the season in Kollywood and here���s one more to add to this list. Daisy, directed by debutant Srinath Ramalingam, is a supernatural horror film that apparently is based on a true story. Says a source in the team, ���The story is written by a Madurai-based writer. The film begins in Singapore and later takes place in Chennai.��� Director Srinath has earlier worked in a couple of independent Hollywood films in 2010-11 and has also directed a TV series in Singapore.
The film has a fresh cast ��� Deepak Paramesh, Gunalan Morgan, Jaqlene Prakash, Mourhrna Anetha Reddy and Mime Gopi. Even the technical crew is full of debutants. The music is composed by Sivasaravanan, the cinematography is being handled by Manish Murthy and editing is by Harry Haran.
The team will be releasing the first-look motion poster of the film today. Meanwhile, in a novel attempt, they are going to screen the opening scene from the film at a charity event that will take place in the city on November 16.
