Fans and celebrities gathered in large numbers to pay their last respects to SP Balasubrahmanyam, who passed away yesterday at a private hospital in Chennai.His mortal remains were kept at his Nungambakkam house till last night, and were then taken to his farmhouse in Redhills, Chennai. Police were unable to control the crowd, as thousands of SP Balasubrahmanyam fans and celebrities arrived to pay their respects.
Celebrities like Bharathiraja, Rahman, Arjun Sarja, Ameer, and others had arrived at the farmhouse to pay their last respects to the late singer. SP Balasubrahmanyam's cremation will take place today and the Tamil Nadu government has announced that SP Balasubramaniam's mortal remains will be buried with state honors. Special security has been arranged by the police officials to make sure that the safety of the people is taken care of during the ongoing pandemic situation.
