Double dhamaka for Ajith after 8 years!

After the success of Gautham Menon directed 'Yennai Arindhaal', Ajith is set to have a double dhamaka this year with 'Vedalam' hitting the screens on November 10th for Diwali clashing with Kamalhaasan's Thoongavanam. This is the first time in 8 years that Ajith will have more than one movie release in a year. The last time was in 2007, when he had three film, Aalwar, Kereedam and Billa release on the same year.
The film is directed by Siruthai Siva and is about the relationship of brother and sister played by actors Ajith and Lakshmi Menon, with Shruti Haasan playing the female lead. 'Vedalam' has been cleared by the Censor Board with a clean 'U' certificate.
