Sukanya hit screens in the beginning of March and received average reviews from public and critics alike. The plot of the film revolves around a copule who is in love convinces their respective families about their plans to lead life together. However, they realise that both the families are poles apart when they start the wedding preparations.
The latest news is that the film is all set to hit screens on April 12 again. The makers released a statement recently revealing the news. The release said, ‘Thirumanam, which released in the beginning of March received good reviews from the audience for its good story and screenplay. The film couldn’t be released in more screens due to the shortage of screens available at that time and release time had students appearing for board examinations, so people couldn’t come in big numbers to watch the film. On popular demand from public and co-operation from theatre owners, we are releasing the film again on April 12 in 75 theatres.’
