Cheating case against actress Meghana Raj

South Indian actress Meghana Raj, who has acted in Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil movies, has been accused of cheating a businessman. The pretty actress has been been accused of cheating a Tamil Nadu-based businessman who has accused that she cheated him by backtracking after promising to marry him.
Reacting to the the same, Meghana Raj tweeted, "It has bin quite an eventful day.False allegations has bin made by ppl/person whose existence is news 2 me. I thank karnataka police, press & media and my fans who ve stood by me thru dis.. Such baseless and childish acts do not disturb me." (Sic)
In an e-mail complaint to Bengaluru City Police Commissioner, the businessman alleged that Meghana had promised to marry him and had also stolen a few documents and evidence relating to the relationship.
"De outcome of de investigation n de closure of de case is quite heartening an vindicates my stand 😊 thanking one and al again!" Meghana further tweeted.
