'Avan Ivan' actor K Ramaraj passes away
K Ramaraj who was ill for the past one month and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Madurai passed away last night (July 11). He was 72. The actor's mortal remains have been brought to his residence at his native town Mudukulathur, Ramanathapuram district. It is also reported that the last rites of K Ramaraj will be held today afternoon after friends and family pay their respects.
Actor K Ramaraj worked as a manager in a cooperative bank, and he made his debut in films after his retirement. Actor K Ramaraj was known for his role as a police officer from 'Avan Ivan', directed by Bala. He shared the screen space with Vishal and Arya in the 2011 Tamil film, and his scenes with both the actors are quite memorable. After the success of 'Avan Ivan', K Ramaraj acted in several other Tamil films and delivered good performances.
K Ramaraj is survived by his three sons.
