Anjali's Eegai shooting starts today

Actress Anjali, who made her debut with Telugu film 'Photo' in 2006 and with 'Kattradhu Thamizh' in Tamil in 2007, was last seen in the anthology film 'Paava Kadhaigal' in Tamil. While the talented actress has completed shooting for Shankar's Telugu film 'Game Changer' starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, she has begun shooting for her 50th film today.
Titled Eegai, the film will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual thriller directed by Ashok Velayutham.The film will be an investigative thriller that revolves around a social issue with Anjali playing the role of a law student. Kashyap, who is currently working with Cheran in a project, will play Anjali’s romantic interest; he will appear as a police officer.

The cast also includes Sunil of Pushpaa fame playing the antagonist, with veteran director Bharathirajaa, Cooku With Comali fame Pugazh, Hari and Abi Natchathra in important roles. Produced by Green Amusement Productions and D3 Production, the film has music by Dharan Kumar and the technical team includes Sridhar G and Praveen KL as the cinematographer and editor respectively.
