Sivakarthikeyan starrer ‘Amaran’ has clearly surpassed the most-hyped Suriya starrer ‘Kanguva’ even on the 27th day at the box office.
According to the Sacnilk website, ‘Amaran’ has minted Rs 209.65 crore in 27 days at the Indian box office, and on day 27 the movie has raked in Rs 1 crore as per the early estimates by the website.

The Sivakarthikeyan starrer had 14.62 percent Tamil occupancy on November 26 with morning shows at 12.34 percent, afternoon shows at 13.53 percent, evening shows at 15.64 percent, and night shows at 16.96 percent.
The occupancy rates for ‘Amaran’ in Telugu regions are impressive as well. On Tuesday ‘Amaran’ had an overall 13.93 percent Telugu occupancy with morning shows at 11.08 percent, afternoon shows at 15.29 percent, evening shows at 12.76 percent, and night shows at 16.58 percent.
Meanwhile, Suriya’s ‘Kanguva’ has only managed to collect Rs 68.47 crores in 13 days and on Tuesday, November 26, ‘Kanguva’ had an overall 8.39 percent Tamil occupancy with morning shows at 6.44 percent, afternoon shows at 8.48 percent, evening shows at 7.37 percent, and night shows at 11.27 percent, which is quite underwhelming when compared to the Sivakarthikeyan starrer ‘Amaran’.
Also ‘Kanguva’ has managed to mint only Rs 68.47 crores in 13 days and on day 13 the movie has collected Rs 50 lakhs as per the early estimates by the website. Overall it’s certain than Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Amaran’ is the all-time blockbuster hit of 2024. On the other hand, Sivakarthikeyan's previous outing was in the Vijay starrer 'GOAT'.
