Actresses who have welcomed pets during the pandemic

The pandemic and the lockdown that resulted out of it showed many of us how drab and dull our lives become when we are all alone. Some of our actresses welcomed pets into their homes — a couple of them for the very first time — and have been having a great time raising the cuties. Here's a look at a these stars who are now new pet mommas:

Jon Snow Bichon’s entry has been a life-changing experience, Andrea had told us a couple of months ago and why not! This fur baby happens to be the actress' first pet and she had put off having one for so long because "it would not be fair to the dog as I wouldn’t have the time to spend with him". But having taken the plunge, the actress is loving every minute of it, taking him along with her wherever she goes, including to her shoots! And he is quite the star, like his momma, on Insta!

A proper animal lover, the Jagame Thandhiram actress has got her first pet during the pandemic. With the lockdown putting a halt to her shooting for films round the clock, the actress got little Bruno, a labrador. Interestingly, she'd initially named him Drama! She says having a pet is very calming, and there's so much love coming her way.

While Sam already has Hash, a pitbull, she's recently got him a sister — Saasha. While she is still coming out of the turmoil in her personal life, we bet this cutie is playing a huge role in it.

In May this year, Hansika brought home a Teacup Maltese as her pet. Teddy Motwani is quite the poser like his momma, we say!

Just ahead of the first lockdown, in 2020, Ramya Subramanian's pet dog Milo passed away. And now, her Hero has walked into the heartbroken VJ and actress's life to make it brighter. The German Shepherd is a look-alike of Milo, and Ramya even threw a birthday paw-ty for him when he turned one in January earlier this year.

The lone cat momma in this list, Raiza Wilson is a feline lover and was already having a great time with her pet Lilo. And she has recently got Kaza, another pet cat, who is an absolute beaut! And like her momma, Kaza seems to be a fashionista to the core.
