The off-beat movie has been screened at all the major film festivals in the world and critics have raved about it. The film is also an eye opener on communism and how it first took roots in Tamil Nadu via the weaver���s society of Kanchivaram.Says Priyadarshan, ���It is my best film till date. My entire cast and crew, including cameraman Thiru, art director Sabu Cyril and music director M G Sreekumar, have made it memorable. Prakash Raj has given a stunning performance and he deserves an award for it.���
Priyan also says that this film is straight from his heart and he is not concerned about its commercial success.
