Shakeela turns singer

Actress Shakeela is all set to take on a new role in the film industry. Yes, the actress has turned singer for one of her forthcoming films in Tamil.
Shakeela has sung a song, Sodakku podu..., in Shanmukipuram, directed by Chezhian. The music for the film has been composed by Tashi (a prominent music composer in Mollywood) and singers Amritha and Saloni have sung the song along with Shakeela.
Confirming the news, the actress says, “I’ve danced for a special number in Shanmukipuram and director Chezhian thought that it would be nice if I could sing the song too. I decided to give it a try. I hope it comes out well.”
Meanwhile, Shakeela is busy with a couple of projects in other south Indian languages, including the Kannada remake of Boss Engira Baskaran.
