Samuthirakani: Making waves
After Sarath Kumar, Thalaivasal Vijay and Prabhu, looks like it is actor-director Samuthirakani’s turn to charm audiences in God’s own country.
Accolades have been heaped on the actor, who recently starred in the Mohanlal hit, Shikkar. Samuthirakani plays the role of a Telugu naxalite leader who gets killed in a fake encounter in the film. What’s more, sources say that a Telugu poem which his character recites in the film has become a rage among the audiences.

“Shikkar got me recognition in Kerala and Lalettan has agreed to act in another project of mine. As of now, my priority is to direct a Tamil film with my friend Sasikumar as hero.”
