Prashant Damle raises funds for war veterans

The actor is going to raise funds throughhis popular play ‘Gela Madhav Kunikade’. He not only plans toconduct 25 runs of the play across Maharashtra, but also wants to createawareness amongst youth to come forward and help the warveterans.“I have been doing comedy plays but now I’ll bedoing comedy for a serious and important cause. Apart from the fund raisingplays, I’ll get an opportunity to meet youth from different cities. My aimwill be to motivate them and make them understand about Indian soldiers andtheir plight,” said Damle while talking about this initiative.He further informed his assistance in raising the Flag Day fund,which is used to provide financial assistance to the war veterans, widows anddependants.
