Karma, confessions & Holi

As celebs get into a playful mood on Holi, they talk about their whackiest experiences during the festival of colours.
Karma, confessions & Holi
When I was in Class XI, someone threw a colour balloon in my eyes. After that, I stopped playing Holi. But even though I am not a Holi freak, I make it a must to gulp down glasses of bhang on this occasion. It so
happened once that I had gone for a long drive with my boyfriend, after consuming a whole lot of bhang. I was so high that I could barely remain seated behind him on the bike.

My friend threw a party last Holi. He told me it was a formal party and I went dressed in a short white cocktail dress. As soon as I walked in through the door, I was greeted with chemical colours on my face! Before I could react, I was hoisted and thrown in the pool! Tina Mukherjee, model/actor
A friend of mine mixed gutter water, eggs and colours and doused me in it. To get back, I made a mixture of liquid bleach, blue permanent colour and mustard oil and coloured his teeth. The stains refused to go even after a month

When I was returning home after tuition, my para guys climbed the
terrace of a nearby building and poured coloured water over me, while singing Rang barse. I couldnt get transport and had to walk back home in such a state

I had the best time of my life, three years ago at a party. As soon as I entered the do, I was thrown into a pool of coloured water. When I looked around, I saw only women around me. It was them who had hoisted me and thrown me into the pool. There was also a friend of mine who had the hots for me, but could never admit it. This was a great opportunity for her to get close to me. As for me, I submitted to fair play!

I never played Holi during my childhood because the festival always clashed with my exams. A few years ago, I was chilling out at my friends place the day after Holi. All of a sudden, I was doused with a bucket of blue colour. This act sure
managed to banish my blues! Parno Mittra, actor
As a young boy, me and my friends would climb trees and throw water balloons on girls that at times,
contained gutter water. I knew the girls would go and complain to my parents, so I wouldnt return home the entire day, fearing a beating Hiran, actor
When I was in Class X, I went to play Holi at a friends place. We had a lot of thandaai and bhang. Finally, I returned home without my shirt and my parents failed to recognise me Anshuman, actor
I never played Holi with friends and always made the excuse of having a fever. My friends found out and one year, as I was sleeping peacefully, they doused me in water that not only had colour but also rotten eggs! After that, I went along with friends on the bike and played Holi on the streets, rowdy fashion

As a child I would play Holi, but as I grew up, there was hardly any charm left in it. For me,
its a must to eat well, get high and be at peace during Holi!

Ive seen guys trying to get close to girls during Holi on the pretext of smearing colours. But Ive never had that kind of luck. So, Holi for me is watching
others get naughty

I got high on bhang one Holi and clapped my hands for 45
minutes non-stop. After that I played some really bad piano. I dont remember what else I did, but the next morning I woke up with a lot of pain. But I must admit it was fun. Holi also gives men and women the opportunity to get close to one another. Everyone has a mask on so its difficult to know the intentions.

Songwriter
Honestly, Im so high on bhang each Holi that its difficult to remember anything that I did that day. Thankfully, some friend always gets a camera along and takes pictures. And like Aamir in Ghajini I have to see those pictures to know what actually happened at the party. Tanya Sen, Crystal Grass
A few years back, a friend of mine had put some extremely bad quality colour on my face. Everytime I tried washing my face, I would feel a burning sensation and the colour refused to come off. Finally, it did come off with my peeling skin. I had to consult a skin specialist and stayed away from Holi. But last year while shooting for Mr Funtoosh in Hyderabad, I got together with actor Rachna Banerjee and smeared the entire unit, including Bumbada and Angsuman, with colours
