Ganesh wants to be perfect
Ganesh is on tenterhooks. The actor is gearing up for the release of his directorial debut, Kool. “I’m getting nervous in the run-up to the release. I’ll rest easy only after I watch the final edit of the film,” Ganesh tells BT.
The actor is also generating a lot of buzz because of his long, unkempt hair. “I’m preparing for the character in my next film, the Kannada remake of the Tamil film Mynaa. The producer, K Manju, is getting the director of the original to direct the Kannada film. Amala, whose performance was appreciated in the original, will make her Sandalwood debut in this film,” reveals Ganesh. What about the reports that Sanju Weds Geetha director Nagshekar has planned to direct and act in the Kannada version of Mynaa? “I think he’s only got the title rights, but Manju has acquired the rights to the story,” says Ganesh.
The actor was also approached to be part of the Kannada versions of 3 Idiots and the Telugu hit Mr Perfect. “I’m not doing 3 Idiots, but I liked Mr Perfect. So I might consider doing that film,” he says.
The other big news is that Ganesh will team up with Yogaraj Bhat again. “We will work together soon. Right now, Bhatru is busy with his home production. We’re in talks and will announce the project in a big way,” promises the Golden Star.Contributed by Mahesh H
