Ganesh Venkatram's Hollywood look

Don’t be surprised if you find it hard to recognize actor Ganesh Venkatram in his upcoming flick.
Well a lot of people on the sets of his new Tamil film, “Panithuli”, apparently couldn’t recognize him. The Chennai-based actor has Hugh Jackman’s personal make-up artiste, Rose Hill, doing the styling for his character in the film. “I sport two completely different looks in this film.One character is based in the US while the other is a simple Chennai boy. Rose styled me for the NRI character. I sport a complete Hollywood look,” says Ganesh. Getting the look for the other character was no easy task either. “I went about roaming in the hot Chennai sun for weeks to get tanned enough to carry off the role. I’ve never worked so hard to get into a character in my career. Switching from a suave US bred character to a completely native Chennai boy was a huge challenge,” he shares.
