Bhagyaraj gears up for a Malayalam debut

Talented script writer, director and actor Bhagyaraj is all set to make his debut in Malayalam.
The veteran director, who was busy with the promotion of Sidhu +2, which features his son Shanthnoo in the lead, will now don the grease paint in Mr Marumagan. Sources say that the film, which will feature Dileep in the lead, is to be directed by Sandhya Mohan.
Bhagyaraj, it is said, will play Dileep’s fatherin-law and that popular Tamil and Telugu actress Roja will play his wife in the film. Sources also disclose that the the team of Mr Marumagan will be looking to capitalise on Baghyaraj’s sense of humour, which is primarily what shot him to fame.
They have also revealed that the film will feature funny sequences in which Bhagyaraj and Dileep will play a crucial part.
The heroine, however, will be a newcomer. The shoot of Mr Marumagan is expected to start during the third week of February in Chennai, and the film is likely to release in July.
Well known writers, Sibi and Udayan, have penned the script for Mr Marumagan.
