Jazzy B today stands as the inspiration for many aspiring singers. However, do you know who inspired this Bhangra king to pursue music? It was the legendary singer Ustad Kuldeep Manak. When Jazzy B was mere 4 or 5 years old, Ustad Kuldeep Manak came to Durgapur, Punjab for his performance. He was welcomed by a huge crowd and young Jazzy B was a part of the same. He was so touched by his voice and performance that right there he decided to become a singer.

Jazzy B released his debut Punjabi album ‘Gugiyan Da Jora’ in 1993. Music to his album was given by Sukhwinder Shinda. He is the same guy who advised Jazzy B to move to England. The most precious gem for a singer is his voice and reportedly in 1997, Jazzy B lost the same owing to a major throat problem. It is said that for one complete year, Jazzy B didn’t have his voice and according to him, it was only a miracle that he got it back. Jazzy B till date believes that it was a miracle of the destiny that he got his voice back, and thus, after recovering, in 1999 he released a religious album ‘Singh Da Kaum Bahadur Hai’.
