Exactly a month after the release of ‘Kala Shah Kala’, Binnu Dhillon will be back on the screen with ‘Band Vaaje.’ Directed by Smeep Kang, the movie will star Mandy Takhar as the female lead in the movie. Since the two haven’t shared the screen together earlier, the audience will get to see a fresh pairing with the release.

Coming to the movie, it is from the genre of comedy-drama, and will also feature Gurpreet Ghuggi and Jaswinder Bhalla in pivotal roles.

Talking of comedy dramas, ‘Manje Bistre 2’ will be making its way to the box office on April 12. Just like the first installment, the second part is also expected to tickle the funny bones of the audience. Besides, the movie for the first time will be bringing Gippy Grewal and Simi Chahal together on the 70mm. In the first part, it was Sonam Bajwa who played the female lead, however, according to a TOI report, considering the character sketch and script’s demand, Gippy Grewal found Simi Chahal better suited for the second part.

Parmish Verma who after making his debut in 2017 with ‘Rocky Mental’, left is fans craving for more, will be presenting a number of movies in 2019, and ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’ is one of them. Besides playing the lead, Parmish Verma also enjoys the credit for writing and direction in the movie. Opposite him in the movie, will be Wamiqa Gabbi. This fresh jodi will be making it to the theatres on May 10.

Besides featuring with Binnu Dhillon, there’s another Punjabi artist Jobanpreet Singh with whom Mandy Takhar will be sharing the screen space for the first time. Mandy and Jobanpreet will be seen together in the movie titled ‘Saak’. It is a period drama packed with romance and a tale of warfare. The movie will be making it to the theatres on June 7.

After making his debut with ‘Gudiyaan Patole’, Gurnam Bhullar will again be seen on the big screen with the release of ‘Surkhi Bindi’. The movie will star him along with Simi Chahal in the lead. This fresh pair for the first time will entertain the audience with their performance on August 30. Since this Vijay Kumar Arora directorial will be featuring two of the cutest celebs of Punjabi entertainment world, the audience can’t keep calm till the release.

Gippy Grewal seems to be on a spree of working with stars, he didn’t work before. After sharing the screen space with Simi Chahal in ‘Manje Bistre 2’, he will be seen starring with Sargun Mehta in ‘Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh’. The movie will be an addition to the list of Punjabi romantic comedies.

Though the release date of the movie is yet to be disclosed, it is reportedly scheduled to make it to the box office in 2019 only.

Last but not least, another fresh pair that will be hitting the big screen this year is of Parmish Verma and Sonam Bajwa. The two will be seen together in one of the highly anticipated movies of the year ‘Singham’. The makers of the movie for a very long time maintained pin drop silence on the female lead, but it’s not a secret anymore. However, what remains as a secret till now is the exact release date of the film.
