‘Lekh’, ‘Main Te Bapu’, and more: Punjabi movies we can't wait to watch in April
April is going to be one of the best months for cinephiles, as every week a new Punjabi movie with a new flavor and storyline will be making it to the big screens. With each release, the audience will get to see a fresh Jodi, enchanting chemistry, garnished beautifully with a dose of entertainment.

‘Lekh’
The first movie that is making its way to the theatres in April is ‘Lekh’. Starring Gurnam Bhullar and Tania in the lead, the movie is a romantic drama. The movie captures the tale of two young hearts falling in love, only to latter part ways. However, their fate brings them together once again, and then another chapter of their lives begins.
Written by Jagdeep Sidhu and directed by Manvir Brar, the movie will be out on April 1.

‘Gal Wakdi’
Another romantic drama that will be entertaining the audience this April is ‘Galwakdi’. With this movie, for the very first time on the big screen a new Punjabi jodi will be seen - Tarsem Jassar and Wamiqa Gabbi. Alongside these lead actors, the movie also stars Raghveer Boli, B.N. Sharma, Rupinder Rupi, Honey Mattu, Sukhi Chahal, Seema Kaushal, Prakash Gadhu, Harby Sangha.
Directed by Sharan Art, the film will be making it to the theaters on April 8.

‘Main Te Bapu’
In the third week of April, Parmish Verma and his father Dr. Satish Verma will captivate the Punjabi audience with their movie ‘Main Te Bapu’. Based on the father and son bond, the movie is touted to be an emotional drama. The trailer or tease of the film is yet to be released, and thus, we can’t say anything concrete about the storyline.
Further, alongside Parmish Verma and his father, Punjabi and Hindi actress Sanjeeda Shaikh will be seen in the lead. The movie will be out on April 22.

‘Ni Main Sass Kuttni’
Last but not least, the final week of April will witness the release of Punjabi singer Mehtab Virk’s debut movie ‘Ni Main Sass Kutni’. Presenting the infamous war of mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, the movie is said to be a comedy-drama. The poster of the same has been recently released, with all the leading female characters like Tanvi Nagi, Anita Devgan, Nirmal Rishi, and others featuring in it.
Further, Karamjit Anmol, Gurpreet Ghuggi, and many others will also be seen playing a pivotal part. The film will be released on April 29.
